I represent clients at the Landlord and Tenant Board on different applications ranging from wrongful eviction to non-compliance with the provisions of the Residential Tenancies Act. For example most tenants are not aware that a tenancy agreement or the landlord cannot request for them to provide post dated cheques or other negotiable instruments for payment of rent, or permit automatic debiting of the tenant’s or prospective tenant’s account at a financial institution, automatic charging of a credit card or any other form of automatic payment for the payment of rent.

I also advise clients regarding compliance with the appropriate laws dealing with residential and commercial properties.
